TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressors) are electrical components used mainly to protect circuits from high voltage transients. Varistors, MOVs (Metal Oxide Varistors/MOVs) are two types of TVS components. The V10E175PL2T7 is a Varistor that works by quickly dispersing a high energy electrostatic surge, diverting it away from sensitive components.
