When a surge is applied, the V251CA32 reacts approximately 3-4 microseconds faster than an MOV, thus providing a more rapid differential of response in dynamic applications. The V251CA32 also has a higher “clamping ratio” than MOV’s, providing much higher voltage protection. The V251CA32 can withstand surge voltages up to 750V.

The V251CA32 has high surge endurance, and it can operate in temperatures ranging from -55°C to +85°C, making it an ideal solution for applications requiring robust surge suppression.
