Working Principle of V2F6-M3/H Rectifier Diode

During normal operation, the diode allows current to start flowing in one direction only—the forward direction, when the anode is the most positive terminal.

On the other hand, when the anode is the least positive terminal, the diode does not allow current to flow through it and behaves as an open circuit—this is what it is conventionally known as the blocking state. As a consequence, the voltage signal is not rectified, but only lowered—by an amount equivalent to the junction voltage drop, which is around 500mV.
