The V30433-T1-GE3 is an integrated driver-MOSFET module designed for applications that require continuous loads of up to 30A and voltages up to 650V. This rugged and reliable device features both over-voltage and over-temperature protection for hazard-free operation in the most demanding applications. The V30433-T1-GE3 is designed for applications such as motor control, welding, battery management systems and high current applications in demanding environments. This driver-MOSFET module is capable of controlling up to 30A of continuous current with its integrated driver and MOSFET. It functions by converting a low level control signal into a high power output. The module contains a MOSFET Driver and MOSFET which is controlled by an external control voltage. The MOSFET driver sends out a controlled pulse width modulated signal which allows the MOSFET to operate in its most efficient region and maximize the output power supply voltage.
The V30433-T1-GE3 module features over voltage and over temperature protection. The MOSFET driver has thermal shut down protection when the die temperature reaches 175 °C. It also features under voltage protection. The MOSFET protection circuit monitors the MOSFETs vs. body diode voltage and can be programmed to shut down the powersupplies when the MOSFETs vs. body diode voltage is above or below the set thresholds. This feature protects against short circuit and over voltage conditions.
The V30433-T1-GE3 module is available in a multiple of packages designed for ease of operation. It is available in a compact DIP8 package with a power savings feature that can be enabled by an external pin or TTL compatible logic signal.
