The VN750 is a high-performance power distribution switch, load driver and adjustable regulator from a group of CMOS switches known as Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC). It is designed to configure a power-output system optimally by configuring the electric current and output voltage. The VN750 can be used to control the switching of the power supply, when it is needed, to the electric motor or the storage device in automotive and other applications.The VN750 is a CMOS bank switch capable of controlling power levels up to 1000 volts and currents up to 100 amps. It is used to configure a variety of power systems, including electric or internal combustion engines, batteries, and storage devices. By channelizing the power load over eight different channels, it can efficiently handle complex power tasks while maintaining a power-independent output voltage. The VN750 uses various terminal blocks, such as the ‘LVDS’ terminals; the ‘UBS’ terminals; the ‘load enable’ terminal; and the ‘power enable’ terminal, to distinguish the electric current requirements for each channel. The voltage regulator can be easily adjusted for any number of channels and any number of output voltages.Besides this, the VN750 also features a host of protections, such as over-voltage protection and over-current protection, to protect the device from accidental damage caused by incorrect application. In addition, the IC also features advanced power management technologies, such as advanced diode-based circuit protection, to ensure that the device is able to handle additional power requirements in an optimal manner. Another great feature of the VN750 is its modular design, which allows for easy integration with other power system components. The device is highly capable of controlling the power level of multiple channels, thus offering a great deal of flexibility in designing a power system that meets the demands of any particular application.Finally, the VN750 also comes with a variety of operational modes, such as the open loop mode, enabling better system control and ensuring that the power output remains constant. Its functional capabilities enable the system to be used in various applications, such as protection against over-current, short circuits and unexpected power surges. The VN750, with its efficient power management, adjustable voltage regulation and over-current protection, is an essential component of any power management system.
