1. Describe

The device is a dual-channel high-side driver Manufactured using ST's proprietary VIPower® technology and installed in PowerSSO-12 pack. The device is designed to drive 12 V Automotive ground load via 3 V and 5 V CMOS compatible interface that provides Protection and diagnosis. The device integrates advanced protection Load current limit, overload and other functions Through power limiting and active management Overheat shutdown. Current sensing provides high accuracy Proportional load current sensing in addition to Detection of overload and short circuit to ground, Short to VCC and off-state open load. Sense Enable Pin Allows Off-State Diagnostics Disabled in module low power mode and shared between the external sense resistor similar equipment.
