Float, Level Sensors

A VT3 level sensor is a device that uses a floating ball that is attached to a magnetic float to measure the static level of liquid in a tank or container. The device consists of a simple float mechanism that moves relative to a measuring coil that is mounted inside the liquid-filled tank or container. As the float rises or falls with changes in the level of the liquid, the magnetic field created by the measuring coil changes. This in turn causes the voltage follower to show the current level of liquid in the tank.
