The channels also feature a fast response time of 10us, allowing for fast power-on and power-off transitions for dynamic regulation of the CPU core voltage.The W83305G also features a soft-start feature, which limits the current inrush when the device is enabled. This soft-start is quick enough to provide an instantaneous responsewithout overshooting the maximum output current.
The W83305G also features an integrated internal temperature sensor and a thermal measurement circuit, as well as an integrated dynamic voltage frequency scaling (DVFS)controller that dynamically adjusts the CPU core voltage and frequency in response to changes in processor workloads. This ensures smooth operation and reduced power consumptionat light load conditions.
The W83305G is built on a standard CMOS process, and is therefore compatible with a wide range of CPU architectures. Its compact form factor and low power consumption makeit ideal for desktop CPU power management applications. Additionally, its integrated thermal measurement circuit allows for real-time evaluation of the power delivery environmentto ensure proper operation of the core voltage regulation channels for high-performance desktop PCs.
