WUVT1-220 Application Field

WUVT1-220 Working Principle

The WUVT1-220 is a two-stage adjustable time-delay relay. The first stage is a faster responding stage to protect the system from short-term overloads. The second stage is a slower responding stage to protect against long-term overloads. The settings of the time-delay are adjustable from 0.5 seconds up to 10 minutes in the first stage and from 1 minutes up to 30 minutes in the second stage. The settings of the time-delay can be changed to suit the application and the system’s needs. When an overload is detected, the WUVT1-220 will trip the circuit breaker points to de-energize the circuit and protect the equipment from being damaged due to overload.

The WUVT1-220 also includes over-current protection by adjusting the pickup and dropout settings of the relay. The relays can be adjusted to trip at a specified value when the current reaches a certain level. This helps protect the system from potentially harmful overloads that can occur without protection.
