Through Hole Resistors are electrical components that limit the current flow in an electrical circuit. The most common type of Through Hole Resistor is a “fixed” wire-wound resistor, which consists of a coil of resistance wire wound around a cylinder or cylinder-shaped core. The material used for the core and/or the wire itself determines the amount of resistance provided. The WW3FT250R is a wirewound, Through Hole Resistor that has a circular, four-terminal configuration. The device is constructed with a ceramic core, and a silver-plated copper alloy wire-wound around the core.
