It delivers over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection by disconnecting power in response to faults.The X4643S8-2.7AT1 Supervisor has a wide range of applications, such as in automotive and embedded systems, as well as other safety-critical applications. This supervisor is also well-suited to harsh environments where failure is not an option, such as in medical and military systems.The X4643S8-2.7AT1 Supervisory offers three different levels of circuit protection: over-voltage (OVP) protection, over-current protection (OCP) protection, and over-temperature (OT) protection. In addition, it also provides open-drain outputs for fault reporting.The X4643S8-2.7AT1 Supervisor works by monitoring the power supply and sensing abnormal conditions that could lead to a system malfunction.
