XBS053V15R-G is a single phase, half wave unidirectional bridge rectifier which uses silicon as its main material. With high surge capability and ultra-low impedance, this bridge rectifier is perfect for most general purpose applications like converting AC to DC.

This bridge rectifier uses four p-n junction diodes connected in a closed loop to create the unidirectional switching action. During operation, two of the diode conduct current and two are reverse-biased. When voltage from AC power source is applied to the input terminals, two of the diodes conduct allowing current to go across the load, creating a unidirection gated stream for DC output. When the current goes down, the two diodes reverse their state, blocking the current from flowing to the load.

XBS053V15R-G bridge rectifier offers the advantages of low internal resistance, low temperature coefficient, large surge capability, and small size. With its operating temperature ranging from -55 become +155°C, it is an ideal solution for a wide range of applications and environments.
