The device is designed as a very low power operation and able to maintain steady signal in temperature range of -40 to +125 degrees Celsius.The configuration proms device is used to hold the FPGA’s configuration bitstreams while FPGA is powered-off. It fetches a bitstream to the FPGA at power on state, which means that the FPGA is able to configure itself via the bitstreams. When the FPGA configuration needs to be altered, the device can be re-programmed and the new configuration bitstreams will be loaded onto it.
