XDMDK14A2 application field and working principle

XDMDK14A2 single chip LED display module is an LED digital display module using Dong Fang microelectronics DM16850 single chip as the driving control IC. XYMDK14A2 is a kind of one-row LED displayed device, which integrates a DM16850 step-up constant current drive with 16-bit parallel input 2-channel LED dot matrix display. It is widely used in weighing, voltage and current measuring, electric power, or other automatic test or controlling instruments.

The serial input LED display module is used for single or multiple display, multiple digit can be wound regularly displayed. Its main working principle is to select the level drive tube, take the line segment row as the scan lines to sequentially scan each rows. The driving data of the module is 2-channels parallel data. Each port is driven by 8 segments and 8 pull type common pins. While the row of the anode is driven by a step-up constant current circuit, the data can be 4-digits 16 common anode or cathode. The scanning horizontal cycle is 0.5-2.5ms.

In addition, the display module comprises a common base, a display head and a cable. The common base is made up of upper and lower molding by plastic. The common cathode and anode are connected with display port directly. The input port and the power supply port are QFP44 type pins, connected to the external control circuit by double-sided plug. This is to ensure that the control board and the main board communicate smoothly, and improve operational reliability. The display head part of XDMDK14A2 single chip LED display module is composed of four 2-channel 16-bit LEDs, forming a 4-bit display, which can display two decimal 16 3 digits.
