The device includes dedicated instruction processing units, peripheral modules, interfaces, general-purpose timer and on-chip memory. Additionally, it also supports error-correcting code (ECC) memory and safety-optimized fault detection code (FDC) implementation.The device is designed for fault tolerant systems and provides strong reliability, efficient performance, power efficiency, real-time response and scalability for automotive and industrial applications. It is also capable of addressing the system security and ISO 26262 functional safety requirements.Working Principle
XE167F96F80LACFXUMA1 employs an ARM Cortex-M7 core which offers the highest performance combined with Cortex-R5 real-time processors. These cores are capable of running up to 400 MHZ frequency, and provides up to 2420 CoreMark with 600 DMIPS performance. The Cortex-M7 core offers a flexible and deterministic execution of multiple background functional tasks and runs complex user interfaces for HMI applications. The device provides up to 4.0 MB of embedded flash memory and 256 KB of SRAM for storing programs and data. It also offers advanced local memory protection for additional security and should provide the user with robust functionality. The device offers multiple interfaces such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, digital interfaces and optional Ethernet. Additionally, it supports a wide range of peripheral functions such as analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), communication controllers and voltage regulator modules (VRMs). The device has an operating temperature range of -55 to +125C and supports an external clock frequency of up to 24 MHz.
