XIO2213AEVM is a complete system for evaluation and demonstration of devices which is developed and manufactured by Texas Instruments. It provides a complete system for evaluating and demonstrating a wide range of devices, from industrial equipment to modern communication and networking products.XIO2213AEVM is designed to evaluate and demonstrate the multiple power stages of Texas Instrument’s XIO2213A high voltage integrated circuit. The board provides two isolated output AC voltage levels, up to 15kV and is suitable for operation at line input voltage of 100-277VAC. All controlling of the XIO2213AEVM is done by a touch-screen display module.The working principle of the XIO2213AEVM is simple. The driver board takes in AC voltage and then converts this to a high voltage DC supply by means of an input transformer. This high voltage then passes through a voltage multiplier and output amplifier stages to get the desired output voltage, typically up to 15kV. The XIO2213AEVM also incorporates an isolated output regulator to provide a constant output voltage over varying load conditions.The XIO2213AEVM is ideal for applications in research, development, evaluation and demonstration of electronic devices such as Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Radio Frequency (RF) test equipment, Ion Mobility Spectrometer (IMS) and Mass Spectrometer (MS) systems and High Voltage E-field probes as well as components for lightning protection in industrial electric equipment.The XIO2213AEVM is easy to set up and use. It has an onboard user interface that allows adjustment of output voltage and current, as well as monitoring of the status and temperature. To ensure safe operation, the XIO2213AEVM includes a safety circuity to monitor input power, output voltage, and output current as well as warning indicators and shutdown logic if any abnormal conditions are detected.Overall, the XIO2213AEVM is a complete solution for evaluation and demonstration of electronic devices.
