XL10PP002C0C is an industrial pressure transmitter designed to convert pressure into electrical signals. It is provided with mechanical, electrical, performance, pressure, temperature, damping, explosion-proof, repeatability, and stability. This type of pressure transmitter is used in many areas including chemical, gas, liquid flow, power plants, refineries, and fields related to defense, nuclear, aerospace, and other critical applications. The working principle of XL10PP002C0C is based on the application of two force-balance systems. One of the two force-balance systems is the pressure-sensing element, which is placed at the front end of the XL10PP002C0C. It is a differential pressure device consisting of two flexible diaphragms placed on either side and sealed in a pressure chamber. Changes in pressure, when applied on one side, cause the corresponding deformation of the diaphragm on the other side and vice versa. This deformation is measured by the strain gauge in the pressure chamber. The corresponding electrical signal, proportional to the pressure applied, is delivered to the user’s process control system as an output along with a signal indicating which way the pressure is traveling. The other force-balance system is the electromechanical force actuator. This is used to nullify the effect of any external forces that may distort the measurements of the pressure changes in the pressure chamber. The actuator is powered by a small power source and is electrically connected to the same pressure chamber as the pressure-sensing element. It acts in opposition to the pressure-sensing element, thus maintaining constant pressure inside the pressure chamber. The actuator also adjusts itself to compensate for any temperature changes or pressure distortions that might cause erroneous readings of the pressure-sensing element. Both the pressure-sensing element and the electromechanical force actuator work together to measure and maintain the process pressure accurately in the process measuring system.
