The XRT86VX38IB256-F is an integrated Interface-Telecom device designed to provide broadband access to ultra-high speed data over traditional networks. It is a high-performance, optical transceiver module powered via a single DC power supply. It contains both an optical-to-electrical transceiver and DC-DC convertor to allow easy integration into interface-telecom systems. Additionally, the module supports remote monitoring capability for troubleshooting and faster problem resolution.
The XRT86VX38IB256-F offers a highly efficient, low-distortion, high-speed performance for applications such as 10/100/1G Ethernet traffic, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Level 3 routing, Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), SONET and ATM switching, as well as storage area networks. By using Optical Time-Division Multiplexing (OTDM), the maximum speed can reach up to 26 Gbps. It is equipped with a three-channel, 8-bit parallel advanced receiver selecting mechanism to reduce power consumption. Outputs are added as a generic version of the VX38 design.
XRT86VX38IB256-F pulls together the advanced features of two of the leading interface-telecom devices, the XRT86VX38IB256-A and the XRT86VX39IB256-F.
