The YPCL0070T PTC Resettable Fuse is suitable for a wide range of applications, including portable consumer electronics, parts of automotive, home appliances, and medical equipment. It can be used for overcurrent protection and short-circuit protection with relatively high current levels (up to 16A). It has a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to + 105°C and is designed for safety approval (UL/VDE/CCC/RoHS).The YPCL0070T Working Principle
The YPCL0070T PTC Resettable Fuse works on the principle of thermal runaway. A small amount of current (usually 0.15A) is initially passed through the device. This current passes through a thin film, which causes a small amount of heat to be generated which causes the temperature of the device to rise. As the temperature rises, so does the current passing through the device, in an exponential manner. If the set current (in this case 16A) is exceeded, the device will rapidly heat up due to the large amount of current passing through it, causing the device to trip and shut off the circuit. Once the temperature of the device has dropped to a safe level, the device will automatically reset and allow current to pass through it again.The specific data is subject to PDF, and the above content is for reference
