The Z86C9320FSG is a member of the Z86C9xxx Series of microcontroller 8-bit RISC processors, manufactured by Zilog. It is an ultra-low power, low voltage, highly integrated microcontroller with high speed and low power operation that makes it ideal for a wide range of applications including automotive, communication, medical and customer product sectors.

This device is built around a 16-bit RISC architecture compatible with earlier 8051 8-bit microcontroller devices. It is designed for low voltage operation from 2.5V to 3.3V and offers a 0.8V operational voltage range. The Z86C9320FSG contains a 16-bit core processor with 4KB of SRAM and on-chip ROM and can be extended further with up to 64KB of system ROM and up to 8KB of external RAM. It has 25 usable I/O pins including LDO and LC/16 wide band power supply pins, timers/counters, PWM, serial communications (UART, I2C, SPI), analog-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) converters, universal synchronous/asynchronous receiver/transmitter (USART), watchdog timer and a dedicated power on reset (POR) pin.
