The ZHCS350TC is a single-phase high voltage full-wave bridge rectifier. It is widely used in power supply circuits for high-voltageapplications like industrial and commercial AC to DC power supplies, motor speed controls, and other general purpose high voltage circuits. The ZHCS350TC is designed to provide an all-in-one solution for high-voltage power conversion and is ideal for applications that require high efficiency, robustness and long life.
The ZHCS350TC utilizes a full-wave bridge rectifier circuit consisting of four diodes connected in a bridge configuration. This type of rectifier circuit is commonly used to convert AC power to DC power, as the diode bridge is able to convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). The output of the bridge rectifier is a pulsating DC voltage that has the same frequency as the AC input, but it is non-symmetrical and contains only positive voltages. The working principle of the ZHCS350TC is quite simple. In order to obtain a pure DC output from the bridge rectifier, a filter component must be added. Typically, this component is a capacitor which is connected in parallel with the load. The capacitors can absorb the current pulses produced by the rectifier and smooth out the output voltage. The output voltage of the rectifier will be a DC voltage that is proportional to the peak of the AC input voltage.
