The ZL40251LDF1 works on a three channel clock system, one clock line covers the fast frequency, one clock line covers the slow frequency and the last clock line is used to select between two of the three clock lines. The device consists of three delay lines with adjustable length, two phase detectors and a selector that control the delay lines. The two phase detectors measure the phase shift between two clock signals and the selector uses the phase difference obtained to select one of the two signals.
