Working Principle
The ZSR300N8TA voltage regulator has an internal voltage reference that provides a stable output voltage. It regulates an input voltage down to a chosen value through an unsaturated pass transistor. When the load current is increased, the base current to the pass transistor increases and limits the output voltage. The voltage regulator acts in a non-linear fashion and does not cause excessive loading on the power supply.
