VsC8662XIC is such a device. It is a 68-pin single-chip VHF/UHF transceiver for the 2.4GHz specific Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) based on IEEE802.15.4 standard. It incorporates a low power radio transceiver, a microcontroller and a memory, allowing it to control the radio access layer and connect to the Internet. It can be used in a wide range of applications, such as smart home automation, home security, mesh networks, medical and healthcare systems and consumer electronics.
