It has a very low power consumption and is capable of transmitting up to 40kbits/s over distances of 1-2 km. The VSC8572XKS-04 is ideal for low cost and low power links, providing a cost-effective solution for all latest applications.The VSC8572XKS-04 architecture is based on a fully digital spread spectrum communication protocol, which is compliant with the relevant industrial standards. This protocol uses pseudo-random codes, DSSS, for signal modulation. The modulation type is Frequency Hopping Time Division Multiple Access (FH-TDMA). This protocol takes advantage of the frequency separation between stations, allowing many devices to communicate simultaneously on the same frequency band.The VSC8572XKS-04 integrated solution features a direct mode, providing direct communication between network nodes using the same pre-defined FH-TDMA code, while the broadcast mode can be used to send one-way messages to all nodes within a communication cell without the need of pre-defining FH-TDMA codes.The VSC8572XKS-04 can operate in AHZ mode where the phase of the carrier is the same in all the frames sent by each network node. Alternatively, the VSC8572XKS-04 can operate in ASHZ mode where each node is given a unique phase of the carrier, allowing computers in the same FH-TDMA cell to send messages over the same frequency channel but with a different phase.The VSC8572XKS-04 is built to operate in a multi-channel environment, where users are able to create different communication cells across different channels, allowing multiple high-channel-count links to establish communications with a range of up to 1-2km. It also features several features to reduce interference from adjacent channels and link dB levels, optimizing communication performance.The VSC8572XKS-04 integrated solution is easy to use and flexible for a variety of industries.
