l  Detect quartz crystal

The following methods are usually used to detect quartz crystal, but it is better to use substitution method to judge the quality of quartz crystal.

(1) Resistance method.

(4) Test capacitance method is tested with digital multimeter, and its capacitance is used to test the electrostatic capacitance of the crystal. The capacity is generally good, no capacity is bad.

l  Emergency repairs

 Quartz crystal appear internal open circuit fault, which can not be repaired, can only replace the new same model crystal. If the crystal appears breakdown or leakage, the resistance value is not infinite ( for example, some color TV sets use 500kHz crystal to encounter this fault more ), and when the original model is not replaced by the crystal , you can use the following emergency repair method.
