Display LCD and LED

The LCD is constructed by placing a liquid crystal cell in two parallel glass substrates, a TFT (thin film transistor) on the lower substrate glass, a color filter on the upper substrate glass, and liquid crystal molecules controlled by signal and voltage changes on the TFT.

The direction of rotation is such that the polarization of each pixel is controlled to be emitted or not for display purposes.

Light-emitting diodes are simply referred to as LEDs. It is made of a compound containing gallium (Ga), arsenic (As), phosphorus (P), nitrogen (N), or the like.

When electrons and holes recombine, they can radiate visible light, and thus can be used to make light-emitting diodes. Used as an indicator light in circuits and instruments, or as a text or digital display. The gallium arsenide diode emits red light, the gallium phosphide diode emits green light, the silicon carbide diode emits yellow light, and the gallium nitride diode emits blue light. Organic light-emitting diodes OLED and inorganic light-emitting diode LEDs are further classified by chemical properties.

As a backlight for liquid crystal display, LED can be used not only as green, red, blue, white, but also as a color-changing backlight. Many products have entered the stage of production and application.

Recently, light on mobile phones have been made with LEDs. Improve the grade of the product, the effect is very good. The backlight of 15in (1in2.5cm) LCD screen made of 8 blue, 24 green, 32 red LuxeonLED can reach 120W, 2500lm, brightness 18000nits ( Nite, cd/m2).22 LCD backlight has also been made, only 6mm thick, not only good color mixing effect, color rendering index also reached 80 or more.
