How to classify inductors?

Inductance coil of inductor is wound around the insulating tube by wire, and the wires are insulated from each other, and the insulating tube can be hollow, it can also contain an iron core or a core, or inductance.

The inductance is represented by the symbol L,the units of inductance are Henry ( H ), mH ( mH ), micro Henry (uH ), 1H = 10000 mH = 1000000 uH.

Classification of Inductors

1 ) Classification by inductance :

fixed Inductor and Variable Inductance.

2 ) According to the nature of the magnet:

the hollow coil, the ferrite coil, the core coil and the copper core coil are classified.

3 ) Classification by nature of work :

antenna coil, oscillating coil, choke coil, notch coil and deflection coil.

4 ) Classification by winding structure :

single-layer coil, multilayer coil, and honeycomb coil.

5). Classification of flake inductors:

low power inductors and high-power inductors. Small power inductors mainly include wire wound chip inductors, multilayer chip inductors, and high-frequency chip inductors. High power inductors are mainly wire wound.
