Function of digital multimeter diode block.

Automatic range digital multimeter diode block generally has three function options: resistance, resistance buzzing, diode voltage drops buzzing.

(1) Resistance option: the dimension is resistance, which is used to measure the true value of resistance between red and black pens.

(2) Resistance buzzling option: the dimension is the resistance, which is used to determine whether or not the buzzer is buzzing based on the maximum set buzzer resistance (- 20Q). If the true resistance between the red and black pens exceeds the maximum buzzer resistance, the multimeter does not emit a buzzer, if it is small.

(3) Diode voltage drop buzzling option: when the multimeter is in the diode buzzer option, the multimeter has a red pen with voltage, and when the voltage drop between the red and black pens is less than the maximum buzzing voltage drop, the multimeter will beep when the voltage drop between the red and black pens is less than the maximum buzzling voltage drop. On the other hand, no buzzing. The dimensions of the diode block of the non-automatic range digital multimeter are not clear. There is information that the dimension is the resistance ohm, and there is also the information that the dimension is the voltage volt. It is found that the actual resistance value between the two points is the same as that of the non-automatic range digital multimeter when the reading number is small. With the increase of the real resistance value, the universal representation deviates from the true resistance value between the two points more and more. However, no matter whether the dimension is ohmic or voltage volt, it does not affect the measurement process and the judgment based on the measured value
