Is the LED display a liquid crystal display?

The LCD is a liquid crystal, and the backlight has two ways, namely a cathode ray CCFL and a light-emitting diode LED, both of which are LCD liquid crystals.
These two methods have no advantages and disadvantages in terms of specifications, and the imaging effects are not much different.
When the LCD came out, it was basically CCFL backlight, so it is not mentioned, it is called LCD directly.
Because LED is coming out late, it gives a more advanced impression, and it can make the screen thinner, which CCFL can't do.
