Principles of servo level gauge and radar level gauge

l  First, the servo level gauge

Measuring principle: The servo motor drives the float to move downward, and the force sensor senses the change of the buoyancy of the float. The liquid level is calculated by the motor rotation angle at this time.

Features: Measure liquid level or interface with high precision.

Disadvantages:

1. When the liquid level of the liquid with large viscosity fluctuates greatly, the loss of the pulling filament is often caused.

2. The detecting component is immersed in the liquid to be tested or its saturated vapor, and is not suitable for the measurement of self-polymerization, corrosion, toxic, flammable, high-purity, aseptic, high-viscosity liquid.

3, hot fire hole installation.

Safety: It is not safe to measure corrosive, toxic, and flammable liquids.

 Price: high

l  Second, the radar level gauge

Principle: Radar electromagnetic wave ranging principle.

Features: Measure high viscosity liquids and muds.

Disadvantages:

1. The antenna is immersed in the liquid to be tested or its saturated vapor. It is not suitable for the measurement of pressure, self-polymerization, corrosion, toxic, flammable, high-purity, aseptic, high-viscosity liquid.

2. When the antenna type radar level gauge measures the liquid level of the pressure vessel, the electromagnetic wave absorbed by the saturated vapor body often has a 'lost wave' and the liquid level is not measured, which is unstable.

3, hot fire hole installation.

Safety: It is not safe to measure pressure, corrosion, toxic, and flammable liquids.

Price: Medium.
