The radiator mainly includes: cast iron radiator, steel radiator and aluminum alloy radiator.

1, cast iron radiator

Cast iron radiators can be divided into columns and airfoils according to their shape, while airfoil radiators are divided into round and long airfoils. The cast iron radiator has the advantage of corrosion resistance, but the pressure is generally not more than 0.4 MPa, and the weight is large, and the labor intensity is large when paired. It is suitable for heating systems with working pressure less than 0.4 MPa, or buildings not exceeding 400 m high. The airfoil radiator is mostly used in the factory floor, and the column type is mostly used in folk buildings.

2, steel radiator

Compared with cast iron radiators, steel radiators have the advantages of less metal consumption, high compressive strength, neat appearance, small size, small footprint, easy layout, etc., but they are susceptible to corrosion and have a short service life. In the high-temperature water heating system, it cannot be used in steam heating systems, and it is not easy to be used in heating rooms with high humidity.

3, aluminum alloy radiator

With the development and progress of the society, people have put forward higher requirements on the performance and aesthetics of the radiator. With its outstanding advantages, aluminum alloy stands out and quickly seizes the market, making it an ideal choice for radiator replacement. Its characteristics are: pressure resistance, heat transfer performance is obviously superior to traditional cast iron radiator; elegant appearance, strong decorative and ornamental; small size, light weight, simple structure, easy to transport and install; corrosion resistance, long life . Aluminum alloy radiators are mainly in the form of airfoil and closed type.

Precautions when purchasing a radiator

Looking at the shape, the fin-shaped heat sink is bent by a thin aluminum plate and looks like a bellows of the accordion; each of the radiant heat sinks is tilted in one direction to facilitate air circulation. These two products have a relatively high heat dissipation performance.

Look at the material, aluminum extrusion profiles of the lowest price, but the heat dissipation is not good; gold, silver, copper heat sink cooling effect is good, but the cost is high, the weight is large. The most cost-effective is the aluminum alloy radiator.
