Excitation spectra of LalnO3: Eu phosphors.

The excitation spectrum consists of two parts: broadband excitation below 361 nm and a series of sharp absorption peaks above 361 nm. The excitation band before 361 nm belongs to the absorption of Laln O, which corresponds to the charge transfer band CTB of Eu. Greater than 361 nm.

The sharp absorption peak is LalnO, the direct excitation peak of 41 states of Eu ion in its matrix lattice, in which the wavelength matching the wavelength of ultraviolet light and blue LED chip (located at 394nm, 464mm) has strong sharp absorption peak. It shows that the synthesized sample can be well excited by the light emitted by the LED chip.

The emission spectra of the samples are composed of characteristic emission peaks belonging to Eu' ions at 588nm, 610am, 654nm and 701nm. These sharp peaks belong to EU ionAnd the dipole of D. The intensity of transition to F _ 2 is higher than that of magnetic dipole D. The transition intensity which indicates that Eu ions are located in the asymmetric center of the LalnO matrix. The intensity of emission peak at 610 nm is the highest, which indicates that Laln EU + is a good phosphor which can be used in white LED to emit red light.
