What is Logic Algebra?

Logic Algebra, also known as Boolean algebra or switch algebra, is a mathematical tool that represents and processes all kinds of logical relations between things.

There are only two kinds of values in logical algebra, which are called binary logic. In binary logic, for any proposition P, either P is true, or P is false, there is no other case.

The advantage of binary logic is simple and clear, and the disadvantage is that it can not directly describe a lot of complex reality. Because the binary logic is simple and clear, it is easy to be realized through the circuit, that is, as long as the " pass " and " break " ( closed and disconnected ) states can achieve binary logic features.

The early switch circuit is composed of relays and switches, so it is called switch circuit. With the development of science and technology, digital electronic technology is gradually developed. The core idea of digital electronic technology is still binary logic.

In logical algebra, 0 and 1 do not represent the size, but are two opposite states that represent the existence of things. 0 if it represents " yes ", then 1 stands for " non-", and vice versa. In order to distinguish from the size of ordinary mathematics, 0 and 1 are also called 0 states ( 0-state ) and 1 state ( 1-state ).

Since there are only two kinds of logical algebra, the logical operation is very simple, and the logical operation is only with ( AND ), or ( OR ), three basic logical operations, other complex operations can be attributed to these three operations.
