How to detect the BTG thyristor?

Judging the electrode to place the multimeter in RX1K2 block, and the red and black stylus rotation to connect a pair of electrodes, when a pair of pins is measured to be low resistance,it is proved that the positive resistance of the PN junction is measured. At this time, the black pen is connected with the anode A.The red pen is connected with the gate G,and the other pin is the cathode K.This method can be used to judge the performance of BTG thyristors with known pins.During the test, the reverse resistance between G and A tends to infinity, and the resistance between A and K is always infinite, and there will be no low resistance, otherwise, the performance of the BTG thyristor is poor or damaged.

Detect the trigger ability to put the multimeter in RX 1 block, black pen to anode A,red pen to cathode K,at this time the reading should be infinite. Then touch the gate G with the finger,at this time the sensing voltage of the human body can make the tube turn on,and the resistance value between A and K should be rapidly reduced to a few ohms. The tube is normally triggered to turn on,otherwise the tube is in the open state,as long as there is an induced voltage on the gate G,it is possible to make A, the K is on the conducting state. Therefore,in the test operation, you can short-circuit with a wire between the anode A and the gate G,in order to force the BTG thyristor off,and then touch the G pole test,so as to prevent misjudgment.
