The characteristics of Holzer element

The semiconductor component made of Holzer effect is called the Holzer element.The so-called Holzer effect is the phenomenon that the Holzer electromotive force is generated in the direction perpendicular to the current and the magnetic field when the current is passing through the current and the direction of the current is perpendicular to the direction of the external magnetic field.

The type of Holzer element

The materials used in Holzer devices include germanium,silicon,InSb,InAs,GaAs and so on. Detection of Hall element

Measuring the resistance of the input and output resistance:attention should be paid to the correct selection of the electrical barrier range of the multimeter,to ensure the accuracy of the measurement.For the HZ series products,we should select the " RX10 " block measurement of the multimeter;for HT and HS series products,the " RX1 " block measurement of the multimeter should be adopted,and the measurement results should be in accordance with the parameters of the manual.If the measured resistance is infinite or zero,it is explained that the measured Hall element is damaged.

Detection Sensitivity ( KH ):generally,a double table method is used to place a table in " RX1 " block or " RX 10 " block ( depending on the size of the control current I ),to provide control current for the Hall element,the other multimeter is placed in the DC 2.5V block to measure the electromotive force VH of the Hall element output.With a bar magnet perpendicular to the surface of the Hall element,at this time,the pointer of the voltmeter should be significantly deflected to the right.In the case of the same test conditions,the greater the angle of the pointer to the right deflection of the voltmeter indicates the higher the sensitivity ( Ku ) of the measured Hall element,when testing,we should pay attention not to connect the input and output leads of the Hall element, otherwise,the correct result will not be detected.
