Humidity sensitive resistors mainly include lithium chloride humidity sensitive resistor, carbon humidity sensitive resistor and oxide humidity sensitive resistor. It is composed of humidity sensitive layer, electrode and insulator. Its sensitivity is low, resistance is influenced by temperature, aging easily, and less used.

1.The characteristics of the oxide humidity sensitive resistor are superior in performance, long-term in use, little in temperature, and a linear relationship between resistance and humidity change. There are tin oxide, nickel ferrate and other materials. The characteristics of lithium chloride humidity sensitive resistor: its resistance decreases with the increase of humidity.

The disadvantage is that the test range is small, the characteristic repeatability is not good, and the temperature is greatly affected.

2. Main Parameters

( 1 ) Relative humidity is the ratio of the actual density of water vapor in the air to the saturated density at the same temperature at a certain temperature, they are usually represented by " %RH ". For example, 20 % RH.

( 2 ) Humidity temperature coefficient ( % RH / °C ) refers to the change of humidity indicator when the temperature is change at 1°C.

( 3 ) Sensitivity refers to the resolution of humidity sensitive resistor.

( 4 ) Moisture measuring range ( % RH ) refers to the humidity measurement range of the humidity sensitive resistor.

( 5 ) Wet hysteresis effect refers to the hysteresis phenomenon of electrical parameters in the process of moisture absorption and dehumidification.

( 6 ) Response time refers to the change of the resistance value of the humidity sensitive resistor when the humidity detection environment changes rapidly.
