How to connect test lines when using DC / AC mode shields?

When using the OTC700 series digital multimeter DC / AC mode shift, press the mode button first to choose between the DC (DC) or AC (AC) voltage measurements, which is generally DC by default.

Then plug one end of the black test wire into the COM port of the multimeter, and the other end is connected to the negative pole or tap iron of the detected circuit; One end of the red test wire is plugged into the "V" port of the multimeter, and the other end is connected to the positive power pole of the detected circuit, which makes it possible to measure the voltage, but the following issues must be noted.

(1)  When measuring the voltage, the two detection lines of the multimeter should be parallel to the measured circuit.

(2). The up and down arrow keys are used to scroll in automatic range and manual selection. The range of manual selection is from 400mv to 400V. The concrete method is to select a smaller range first and move the decimal point one bit to increase the accuracy of reading. If the out-of-limit (OFL), indicates that the range is too small, replace the next maximum range.
