How to use a digital multimeter?

A digital multimeter is a kind of instrument which is displayed in digital form by using analog / digital conversion principle to convert the measured analog electrical parameters into digital electric parameters. Compared with the pointer multimeter, it has many advantages such as high accuracy, fast speed, high impedance, small impact on the circuit, and convenient and accurate reading.

First, turn on the power supply, insert the black pen into the COM jack, and insert the V. ohm into the socket.

(1) Resistance measurement

The switching switch is adjusted to the ohm block, and the measuring end of the pen is connected to both ends of the resistor. The corresponding value can be displayed. If the maximum value "1" (overflow symbol) is displayed, it must be adjusted to the high resistance value until it is shown as a valid value.

In order to ensure the accuracy of measurement, when measuring resistance in the road, it is best to disconnect one end of the resistor so as not to form a circuit in the circuit when measuring resistance and affect the result of measurement.

Note: it is not allowed to conduct on-line measurement on the condition of electricity. Before the measurement, the power supply must be cut off and the large capacity capacitor will be discharged.

(2) The "DCV" DC voltage measuring pen must have reliable contact with the test terminal (parallel measurement). In principle, the high voltage shift is gradually adjusted to the low voltage shift adjustment, until the 1/3~2/3 value of the block is at this time, and the indication is a more accurate value.

Note: it is strictly prohibited to measure large voltage with a small voltage shift. It is not allowed to adjust the switch in the state of electricity.

(3) The "ACV" AC voltage measuring pencil test terminal must be reliably contacted with the test end (parallel measurement). In principle, the high voltage shift is gradually adjusted to the low voltage shift adjustment, until the 1/3~2/3 value of the block is at this time, and the indication is a more accurate value.

Note: it is strictly prohibited to measure large voltage with a small voltage shift. It is not allowed to adjust the switching switch in the state of electricity.

(4) Diode measurement switch to the diode shift switch, the black pen connection diode negative pole, the red pen to connect the diode positive pole, can measure the positive pressure drop value.

(5) The measurement of the transistor current amplification coefficient ,hEF transfers the switching switch to the hFe gear and selects the "PNP" or "NPN" position according to the measured transistor, and the transistor can be measured correctly by inserting the transistor into the human test socket, and the hFe value of the transistor can be measured.

(6) The switching switch is transferred to the mark of the buzzer with a reliable contact test point. If both are at 0, the buzzer will be sounded, indicating that the line is open, and the line is not accessible.

Note: it is not allowed to detect when the measured circuit is energized.

(7) "DCA" - the red pen is inserted into the mA jack when measuring 200mA by DC current measurement. When the 200mA is above, the red pen is inserted into the A jack, and the test end must be in a reliable contact with the test end (Series measurement). In principle, the high current shift is gradually adjusted to the low current shift level, until the 1/3~2/3 value of the block is at this time, and the indication is a more accurate value. Note: it is strictly prohibited to measure large current with a small current position. It is not allowed to adjust the switching switch in the state of electricity. (8) "ACA" - the red pen is inserted into the mA jack when the AC current is measured below the 200mA; when the 200mA is higher than the 200mA, the red pen is inserted into the A jack, and the test end must be in a reliable contact with the test end (Series measurement).
