This particular fuse has an acclaim of being one of the most universally used fuse types in the world, due to its wide range of amperage ratings and relative low cost. The 0MAX050.X is a Class RK5 fuse, meaning it has a thermal element with enhanced overload protection which will “blow” once a predetermined overload or short circuit current has been exceeded.
