Sockets

Sockets are the reverse of plugs in that they allow metal pins to enter them and make contact with the wall of the socket. Many electrical control boxes have sockets as an alternative to plugs, which provide a secure connection for the wires. The design also ensures that the connection can be easily released when necessary without any damage to the socket.
