Transient voltage suppressors (TVS) diodes, such as the1N6279AG, are designed to protect electronic circuits from overvoltage conditions such as electrostatic discharge (ESD), power surges, and other phenomena. The 1N6279AG is an uni-directional, silicon avalanche diode package with no external protection or an anode terminal tab. It offers high ESD tolerance and low leakage current.
