The 1PMT5914B/TR7 diode, one of the members of the 1PMT series of zener diodes, is a device that works in the reverse breakdown mode by allowing a single diode to be used instead of achieving the same result with two diodes in series. 1PMT5914B/TR7 is a single zener device of the 5.1V series, with a minimum breakdown voltage of 5.1V and maximum breakdown voltage of 6.1V, making it part of a wide range of available zener diodes with breakdown voltages from 2V all the way up to 200V. This 1PMT5914B/TR7 diode is an axial leaded device, offering improved lead strength and easier installation. The power rating of 1PMT5914B/TR7 diode is 500mW.

When it comes to application, these diodes are used to maintain a constant voltage, limiting the voltage overshoot at the time of switching.
