The 1PMT5950A/TR13 is a single Zener diode which is specifically designed for the general rectification and protection of low voltage circuits. This diode type is generally available in an axial-leaded SOT-23 package and uses an epoxy resin as its main construction material. It offers a reverse voltage of 13V, a current rating of 0.5A and a typical Zener impedance of 32Ω.

The primary application field of the 1PMT5950A/TR13 diode is for voltage regulation and clamping, as in applications where a shift in the output voltage is undesired. This is achieved by means of the device\'s Zener voltage, which is the voltage at which the diode may turn into a reverse breakdown mode and establish a constant voltage level regardless of current or temperature fluctuations.
