Film capacitors, also known as foil capacitors, are energy storage devices mainly composed of thin plastic films and electrodes. The capacitance is formed by a large number of flat plate overlapping layers. The plate electrodes on both sides are metalized with suitable metal, which can be divided into polyester plastic film capacitor, polyethylene naphthalate film capacitor, polytetrafluoroethylene film capacitor, polypropylene film capacitor and polyamide-imide film capacitor.
