This oxide layer acts as the dielectric and a liquid electrolyte with a high permittivity is used to impregnate the anode. A typical aluminum electrolytic capacitor consists of one or more anode foils, cathode foils separated by separator tissue, an outer aluminum casing and a liquid electrolyte. The 382LX104M025B062V aluminum electrolytic capacitor is made of an anode foil, which has an oxide layer on its surface.
