3G08UM

3G08UM is among the miniaturized Um Technology products developed by Proxicast. Designed to support global 3G/4G wireless operators, the 3G/4G Universal Modem (3G08UM) is a multi-band, multi-operator universal cellular modem solution offering cost-effective 3G/4G data connectivity for machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. 3G08UM comes in two form factors - mini-PCI Express (3G08UM-CE) and USB (3G08UM-USB).

Application Field

3G08UM is intended for use in embedded applications where it can provide 3G/4G for wide-area data coverage. This includes machine-to-machine (M2M) applications such as point-of-sale (POS) terminals, digital signage, payment systems, monitoring and remote control as well as many others.

It is a multi-band, multi-operator modem that supports 3G technologies (HSPA, UMTS/DCHSPA, EV-DO and CDMA) as well as 4G LTE. It supports top network speeds of up to 100 Mbps for downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads, making it ideal for applications that require high-speed mobile data connectivity.

The 3G08UM modem’s firmware is continuously maintained and upgraded, ensuring your application is always up-to-date with the latest features and wireless technologies. The modem contains an embedded SIM card which allows it to switch between multiple cellular networks automatically, selecting the one that provides the best signal and data speeds.
