TVS - DiodesTVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) Diodes are designed to protect sensitive electronic components from high transient voltage surges generated by lightning, heavy electrical machinery or other environmental sources. This type of diode will be activated once a specified maximum level of voltage has been exceeded, providing short duration protection to the connected electronic components. The 3KASMC10HE3/9AT diode is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor with a peak pulse power of 9000W at 10/1000μs. It is manufactured in a SMA package and features a low profile package (LPP) for a wide range of applications. In addition, it is also RoHS compliant. This diode is suitable for high voltage protection applications in consumer electronics and communications products including mobile phones, digital cameras, digital music players, and other portable electronic products. It has a maximum clamping voltage of 16.8 V and a maximum rated peak pulse current of 8.8 A.
