551SDCGI8 is a low-power clock buffer device designed to deliver high-frequency, low-skew and jitter signals to multiple clock and data bus systems. It utilizes oscillator-based or crystal-based input technology, depending on the application. This device provides a wide range of performance, including up to 8 high-performance crystal-based outputs over 2-stage differential buffering to accommodate virtually any application. The 551SDCGI8 is built around a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) architecture and includes an array of programmable logic for versatile integration. Within the FPGA are two banks of 8 low-power driver and/or receiver channels covering a range of frequencies from 800MHz to 2.0GHz. The programmable logic enables users to customize the FPGA for their specific application, whether it is turning on a single oscillator or loading a set of coefficients to create an irregular output waveform.
