It is a member of the 74FCTxx family of advanced, low power, low skewing, and high-speed CMOS logic devices. The 74FCT373CTQG8 has an array of 16 latches arranged as four banks of four latches each. Each latch is controlled by two independent input control lines: A and B. When the A input is logic high and the B input is logic low, the associated latch will transfer data from the D input to the Q output. The data on the Q output will remain latched until both the A and B inputs return to the logical low state. This feature can be used to maintain data integrity between clock domains.
